Angel Garcia, the father and trainer of undefeated WBC junior welterweight champion Danny Garcia (23-0, 14KOs), recently lashed out at his son's scheduled opponent, former beltholder Amir Khan (26-2, 18KOs). He didn't hold back his verbal blows on the subject of Khan's trainer, Freddie Roach.

Garcia is not impressed with Roach's accomplishments, claiming the Hall of Fame trainer made his name with fighters who were already seasoned pros and champions.

"That don't intimidate me [going against Roach]. He's a man like me. You know how he got there, like I'm getting there, by making champions. Anybody can make champions [by them] walking in your gym. Anybody can get champions like that. In my door, if they start walking up in here - I'll be a legend too," Garcia told BoxingScene.com.

"Show me that you're a real coach, train a little kid from ten years old to be a world champion and then you tell me that you're a real coach. Half of them champions that he got, they already made them. The sky is too big for the truth. Like I said, I'm not going to beat around the bush."

"Chavez Jr. was already done. Manny Pacquiao he took him from a left hand [fighter] and he gave him a jab. C'mon man. That's all he done, but [Pacquiao] was already made."

When the subject resumed back to Khan, Garcia took a religious position, claiming Khan, a devout Muslim, blamed his 2008 knockout defeat to Breidis Prescott on God. Garcia also made it clear that he's not afraid of anyone who might be offended by his comments.

"Khan is hiding behind Roach. He got knocked out in Europe, the truth. His God didn't do it, he got knocked out. And then he came to America and said his God did it. I'm just saying what he said. I have nothing against nobodies religion. You can believe on a cat for all I care. I don't care who you believe on, I'm telling you the truth. That's what came out of your mouth [directed at Khan], not my mouth, but your mouth," Garcia said.

"He got knocked out in Europe. He came here and lost to Peterson, he blamed it on some other stuff. He's hiding behind Roach because Roach gave him the image. They say he's the coach of the year, coach of the century and people hide behind him. The truth is the truth. He's a man like me. The only thing he has more than me is money and if they give me the opportunity I'm gonna have that kind of money."

"Its' going to come down to who's stronger mentally, physically and spiritually. And I know Khan's God already. Khan's God is a punishing God. My God is a loving God. And I'm not ashamed to tell nobody that. I don't care who is listening and who don't likes me because nobody does nothing for me. And I'm not scared to walk the streets either. I walk by myself because I'm a one man gang like Danny is a one man gang. I'm not scared of nobody. The truth is the truth and I will die with the truth."
