WBC CABOFE champion Gamaliel Diaz (32-9, 16KOs) is targeting a title showdown with the WBC super featherweight king Takahiro Aoh (21-2-1, 10KOs) of Japan. Diaz, ranked at number eight, has won his last nine fights in a row. He comes to fight but often gets overwhelmed when facing the top compeition at his weight. When Diaz stepped up in class, he was knocked out by such boxers like Robert Guerrero, Humberto Soto and Jorge Linares. But he does hold wins over Elio Rojas and a faded Cesar Soto.
