There is a new doping scandal involving WBA/IBO/WBO heavyweight champion Tyson Fury.

According to a report in The Mirror, there are claims that Fury recently missed a drugs test. The paper states that Fury allegedly refused to submit testing samples when visited by inspectors from UK Anti-Doping. His handlers contacted UKAD to reschedule the testing procedure but it hasn't happened as of yet.

A source told the paper: “Tyson was visited by testers over the last few weeks but just refused. He said, ‘F*** off’, and wouldn’t do it. His camp tried to contact UKAD to get him tested but to date that has not taken place.”

The paper contacted Fury’s uncle and head trainer, Peter Fury, who said: “This is all confidential information so I can’t discuss anything relating to UKAD allegations. It’s private information and I’m not allowed to divulge anything about the doping allegations at all, period.”

Sophie Ashcroft, from UK Anti-Doping, said: “UK Anti-Doping does not comment on cases until due process has been completed.”

Fury's controversy with UKAD began earlier this year, when it was revealed that a testing sample submitted several months prior to his shocking win over Wladimir Klitschko last November - had high levels of nandrolone. The test allegedly took place between February and March of last year.

On Friday, Fury withdrew his scheduled rematch with Klitschko, which was scheduled for October 29th in Manchester.

Klitschko is based in Hamburg and his management has reserved the city’s Barclaycard-Arena for December 10 in the hope the rematch can still take place in 2016. It was first scheduled in July and pushed back after Fury claimed in an ankle injury.

Reports have suggested the reason for the recent withdrawal was depression, with Fury's team expected to give a more detailed statement on Tuesday. The initial statement from Fury's handlers claimed the boxer was deemed 'medically unfit' to proceed with the fight.
