Heavyweight world Champion Tyson Fury (25-0, 18 Kos) has told a number of U.K. news outlets that he will relocate to the U.S. if he gets past Wladimir Klitschko for a second time.

Fury and Klitschko are due to meet at the Manchester Arena on July 9 in a rematch of their November encounter, but according to the world titlist it could be his last fight in the U.K.

“I am not accepted in this country, I am a gypsy and that's it. I will always be a gypsy, I'll never change. I will always be fat and white and that's it. I am the champion yet I am thought of as a bum. I am moving out of the country. I am going to America where the champions are better thought of. I am moving to Los Angeles where people have a better life. I made the decision last week to go.”

He added: “The Americans enjoy the kind of brash talking I do so what's the point in staying somewhere where they don't like what you are doing. Why not go to a place where they embrace it and love it? I was made for America. They like me out there because I am a big, brash talker. I get a lot more love over there than here. The Klitschko fight will be my last in the UK. I will probably be based in California and fight in New York or Las Vegas.”

Indeed, Fury expressed a desire to head over to America the last time BoxingScene caught up with him, albeit only for a fight or two, saying: “Hopefully we can look at a big fight in American in the future, but I take things one fight at a time—let’s not get ahead of ourselves here.”

If what he is saying now is true, U.S. fans will see Fury in more than just a one-off fight against WBC Deontay Wilder.
