Most of the boxing world is anxiously awaiting an official announcement that Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Manny Pacquiao are going to trade punches on May 2nd from the MGM Grand in Las Vegas - but EBU/British heavyweight champion Tyson Fury is not one of them.

Fury has no interest in the fight, stating that both men waiting five years too many to make it happen. The controversial fighter, who is ranked as the mandatory challenger to champion Wladimir Klitschko, will return to the ring next Saturday night against huge underdog Christian Hammer.

Fury said to BoxNation: "I couldn't really care about that fight because it is five years out of date. It is like me fighting Superman. Who is bothered about it? Nobody. If it had happened three of four years ago it was big. It was on everybody's mind. To be honest I am not interested in these ten stone fighters. They say they're the pound-for-pound best, but I would beat both together with one hand tied behind my back."
