| Fury: I Knew This Would Happen, Price is a Fraud!
|
|
By Edward Chaykovsky Heavyweight Tyson Fury (20-0, 14KOs) threw in a final dig at his domestic rival, David Price (15-1, 13KOs). This past Saturday in Liverpool, Price was stopped in two rounds by 41-year-old heavyweight contender Tony Thompson. The loss derailed a huge domestic showdown between Fury and Price. Frank Maloney, promoter of Price, was pushing hard to get Fury to fight his man. Now the match might be much further away from ever happening. When I was an 18-year-old novice and he was a 24-year-old fully-fledged amateur international I put him on the seat of his pants in the ring and I knew this would happen because he is a fraud," Fury told Daily Express.
As flabby and out of shape as Thompson was, I did not see this coming. But to say that a man who has only lost to the best twice is no good? Thompson might be able to derail fury if he comes in shape. Big southpaws are a hard fight.

This is a side of Fury I don't like.
Talking about getting revenge for the UK by fighting Thompson was funny.
But Fury's bashing Price after he's just been KOed is sinking low. It's kind of like kicking a man when he's down.
I agree bit of a cheap shot.

If Price is a fraud so is Fury. Last I checked he got put on his arse by Pajkic, he's just another accident waiting to happen. |

LOL Fury talks toooo much. Still think Price would beat him. To be far on Fury, he has been in with the better opponents than Prices. Maybe that showed and a Chisora Price would have been better for Price. Just a shame that Chisora came in weighting more than Fury in the fight |

Fury Actually wished price luck and said if they win both their fights then its on Price failed on his part.
Fury will have the last laugh when he beats Cunningham and if Thompson actually steps up to fight him he will beat him as well Never been a fan of price but i expected him to beat Thomp... |
