Former super middleweight champion Carl Froch wonders if Tyson Fury's crazy antics made heavyweight king Wladimir Klitschko withdraw from their scheduled date as payback.

Klitschko's withdrawal from the scheduled date of October 24th came a few days after a crazy press conference in London, where Fury surprised everyone by racing to the podium while wearing an oversized Batman outfit and beat up another individual dressed as the Joker.

Besides the costume, Fury verbally attacked Klitschko from every angle and even challenged him to a street fight.

Fury, after losing on two high profile dates with David Haye - who withdrew from both meetings with injury - lost his mind when Klitschko said he injured his calf and needed additional time to heal. The fight is now being targeted for November 28th.

Injury aside, Froch feels it could be a game where both fighters are trying to get the mental edge.

"If I am going to play devil's advocate on Klitschko's injury, when he does pull out - and he's done it a few times now - why is it never a visible or provable injury? If he'd ruptured his Achilles and had a scan, fine - but he's got a calf problem, so we will never know," Froch told Sky Sports.

"The calf is a big muscle so rationale says it is a quick healer and the injury will keep him out of action for a month. I am not sure what to make of it all. I think Klitschko was either a bit rattled by Fury's antics or he just thinks 'I don't need this'."

"Klitschko is in a position in his career where he could miss a fight, even retire because he just doesn't need it - especially all the hassle. If Fury has got on his nerves - and he probably has - maybe he is just unsettling Fury, showing him who is in control and that he can do what he wants, when he wants."
