WBC super middleweight champion Carl Froch gave his thoughts about David Haye's options in the aftermath of the one-sided decision loss to IBO/WBO/WBA/IBF heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko on Saturday night in Hamburg, Germany. Froch gives Haye a sure shot at beating any heavyweight in the UK, and the United States, but he doesn't sound too confident about his close friend's chances against WBC champion Vitali Klitschko.
"He's not too old or past it. It was a loss to the best heavyweight in the world. By no means was it a career ending loss but you have to look at it in terms of where he wants to be. He'll beat anybody in Britain. There is nobody even worth mentioning in Britain that could go in with him. In America it's very similar. It's just the Klitschkos brothers and he was just beaten in what many would say was a one-sided points decision to Wladimir. And a lot of people, a lot of experts would say that Wladimir is weak one of the two brothers. So if Wladimir easily outpoints him, what's Vitali going to do," Froch told BBC Radio.
