| Froch Confident of Beating Mack Inside The Distance
|
|
IBF super middleweight champion Carl Froch (29-2, 21KOs) is confident that he'll take out Yusuf Mack (31-4-2, 17KOs) inside the distance on November 17th at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham. Froch and Mack are both heavy hitters and love to slug it out, so people can most likely expect a knockout ending. Should Froch win, he will fall in position for a rematch with Lucian Bute in early 2013.
"I've seen bits and bobs of him, he likes to throw the right hook and get up close, he's a tall and rangy boxer he moves well, but when he's put under pressure I think he'll fall apart," Froch, who will be having his ninth successive world title fight, told Sky Sports.
"It's my job to put him under educated pressure and take his confidence away from him early - if he's got any - and I'm confident I'll get him out of there before the 12th round."

Why wouldn't he be confident? Fighting a B class fighter like Mack lol? A guy who has been knocked out 4 times, with a 45% KO ratio and whose best win came over who, Omar Sheika lol? I guess this is a tune up fight I am assuming? I guess Froch deserves it sure but not sure what this fight is goin... |

9/4 on him stopping Mack between rounds 4 & 6, might even come sooner. Depends on whether Froch carries him or not. |
What a shocker, I'm confident (and most observers are too) Froch will be able to KO the glass jaw'ed Mack as well.
Is this another Saldivia-style pick from Eddie Hearn? |

IMO Mack has regressed his past several bouts and, as always, taked far 2 many blows...I see Froch stopping him... |
