Tom Tsatas, manager of heavyweight contender Fres Oquendo (36-7), has advised that his client is looking to return to the ring in February. Oquendo last fought in June when he out pointed Derric Rossy in Indiana.

Oquendo is currently ranked #5 by the WBA and is also participating in the WBC's World Cup tournament   Tsatas said that Oquendo is interested in facing Deontay Wilder, Chris Arreola or Tyson Fury and would love for any of them to be the Puerto Rican's next opponent.

Is this the guy Haye was thinking of fighting last June? Fres would be a massive step up for Wilder.

if he fights any of the 3 he looses by ko, depending if the "right" Aereola shows up...Fres had a lot of talent but personal issues & age, inactivity has kept him in the back, & he doesn't have the most exciting style...

Oquendo is old but this fighting once every two years makes him meaningless as well.
