Undefeated Horacio "Violent" Garcia, the continental super bantamweight champion of the World Boxing Council (WBC), will return to action on the 21st of this month at the Entertainment Center The Rock Epazoyucan, Hidalgo, Mexico. Garcia (28-0, 20 KOs) will face Yucatan's José "Lightning" Torres (13-6, 1 KO) as part of card put together by Canelo Promotions, Golden Boy Promotions - and televised by Televisa and Fox Sports.
To prepare for this fight, Garcia spent several weeks in London working side by side as in the ongoing training camp of IBF champion Carl Frampton, who faces Chris Avalos on February 28th in Belfast, North Ireland.
Garcia said: "I feel very motivated because I did a great job with Frampton. In London it's freezing, it's hard getting used to, but I want to be world champion and you have to do everything. Boxing in London is different in a matter of preparation. The fighters are strong, but I like it because I learned new things and I'm ready for any opponent. All of this will help me to when I get to fight for the championship of the world."
