Italian veterans and former world champions Giacobbe Fragomeni (29-3-1, 12KOs) and Silvio Branco (62-10-2, 37KOs) clash for the WBC Silver cruiserweight title on March 17 in Pavia on a OPI 2000 promotion.

Fragomeni turned pro after the Olympic Games in 2000 and won the WBC cruiserweight title in 2008 and lost it to Zsolt Erdei in 2009. In 2010 he lost to the current champ, Krzysztof Wlodarczyk, but has scored three straight wins since then.

In regards of the now 45-going-on 46-year old Branco we are looking at a guy with over 20 years of professional boxing behind him. He´s held a number of world titles from middleweight to light heavy and must be nearing the end but has had quite a career.

In the chief support Luca Giacon defends the EU lightweight title against Krzysztof Szot.
