Chagaev struggled so badly with Carl Davis Drummond while Derric Rossy, who was whipped by both Chambers and Dimitrenko damn near shut him out.

Chagaev is considered the real deal because he beat Valuev, who has since proven to be trash against 40+ year old Holyfield.

This kind of thing really shows how bad of shape the heavyweight division is in.

It's the Klitschkos, Kevin Johnson (for another month or so...), David Haye, Eddie Chambers and Alexander Povetkin as far as I'm concerned that are worth any mention in the division.

To hell wit Chag. He had attention paid to him cuz he had a belt. But Val sucks, that win was boring as hell, he pulled out of a bunch of fights, really beat bone of note aside from Val, and got sonned by Wlad.

Anyway, it is disturbing that he was only able to beat Valuev by the slimmest of margins.

The HW div needs some help from the LHW's and CW's, they all need to go up there and revive what is supposed to be the best division in boxing.

Adamek, Hopkins, Jones, Dawson, Johnson, Cunningham, BJ Flores etc. Lol, all of them need to go up there and bring some curiosity to the HW div.

Of those, only Adamek can be successful IMO.

Hopkins, Jones & Johnson - Too old.
Cunningham & Dawson - Skilled, but no chin.
Flores - We'll wait until he fights someone before making any determination of how he would do against the big boys.

Adamek has an aggressive style, and a chin that can't be beat.

as much as ima probably get ripped for this the HW division needs someone to dethrone the klitschko brothers cuz they wont fight anyone and they are beating everyone up easily when most of their fights are oversees. sorry to the europeans that love that.

I mean... who the **** are they supposed to fight? Those really are/were the cream of the crop (excluding Rahman obviously)... Valuev-Haye winner and the people on the coming up list pretty much ends the discussion of who is left to fight. Can you possibly think of anyone else?

I have to disagree with that.

The Klitschkos are fighting the top contenders in their division.

The problem is there contenders just aren't very good.

To the contrary, actually the Klitschko's are fighting everybody. Arreola, Peters and Chagaev are not a walk in the park, the Klitschko's took care of them easily. Povetkin, Haye and Chambers are the only one's left. Adamek might have a good chance against Wladimir, but i doubt he beats him.
