Okay, seriously, does anyone know what the odds were of Shannon Briggs winning by a Knock-out in the 12th round? And who might have placed such a bet?
Something was screwed up about that non-fight; and while I'm willing to accept it was merely a case of Sergei choking under the pressure of fighting in front of his adopted hometown, and unlike in the Brewster fight, having most people pick him to win....I want to explore all options. He seemed to be looking for a soft spot and Shannon seemed to be afraid he was going to knock him out too soon.
