I was impressed Liakovich against Brewster. I think he could take Vlad. Valuev and Maskaev too for that matter but Vlad would be the best match up. It appears to me that he is the Antonio Margaritto or Winky Wright of the heaveyweight division so I doubt we'll see it until Liak gets some more recognition (a second belt).

Wlad has already won and held the WBO belt. I would prefer that he fought Maskaev for the WBC and IBF belts. Even though the WBC is corrupt, the boxing community still views it as the top belt because Lewis held it prior to retiring.

The ironic part about this is supposed boxing fans have clamored for unification bouts for the longest time. Now that Wlad wants to unify as opposed to fight a non champ in Briggs, people are bitching that Wlad is scared. The hypocrisy amaze's me.

we need a new linear champion -- if wlad gets a hold of one more belt -- he will de facto become one

I want to him to unify and line the alphabets accordingly. we need one linear champ and he has the best repertoire to do it.
