  • The end all/be all determination as to whether it was a robbery....

Ward won the last 6 rounds on the judges score cards. I think we have a way to see if this was truly a robbery:

The compubox stats for those 6 rounds. Are they out there?

If Ward won all 6 of the last 6 rounds, but Kovalev outlanded Ward in any, or a majority of those 6 rounds, and failed to get a SINGLE round, would you guys who think it's not quite a robbery, think it's more of a robbery?

I will admit this right here: As a fan of Kovalev, I had him winning comfortably, BUT if he failed to outland Ward for any of those 6 rounds, I'll admit it was closer then I first thought and Ward scoring those points is okay.

HOWEVER, if Kovalev out landed Ward for more then, what, like two of those rounds? I think I'd literally puke into this trashcan right next to me.

Where's the compubox stats??!!? This could end this debate.

I don't look at compubox stats. I look at the fight and Ward won the majority of the rounds. To me, he had won even before the scores were announced. But it was a close fight.

Compubox ain't worth sht, especially in fights where both guys have similar output, these guys will miss punches, add punches, eventually the final numbers end up ****ed. Ain't worth wasting time on in my opinion but I think BPP has made a thread on it.

Kovalev outlanded Ward at round 10 and 12 where it was a clear Kovalev round. 17-11 and 21-13

Compubox has most rounds close, either guy could have won if you trust compbox..

I hope you're joking. At best those last 6 rounds that "Ward won," were 50/50, clearly not clear, indisputable rounds...

If Kovalev outlanded Ward in a majority of those rounds, and those rounds already being 50/50 (which most sensible fans would agree they were) how could you not give him a single one of those rounds?

Welp. That's that. I had Kovalev winning both of those rounds too.

              Kovalev got robbed

Can somebody make the case for Ward winning rounds 10 and 12?

                you are saying "similar"

Where is the challenger has to challenge the Champion?

Kovalev won that fight, ut was taken from him by the system.

                F boxing.

Kovalev didn't outland him. Ward hit him with many body shots and inside punches. Kovalev barely threw any punches in the last half of the fight. Compubox doesn't mean anything.

Just be fair, bro. I became a Kovalev fan last night. He impressed me by giving Ward such a hard fight. Why can't you just respect Ward for his hardfought victory? There was nothing controversial about the result.

Compubox stats say otherwise. How can they not mean anything when you're living in a fantasy land? You've over here saying that Ward hit him with inside punches and body punches and you're blatantly ignoring what Kovalev did in those rounds.

Compubox does matter when it shows that Kovalev outlanded Ward in rounds 10 and 12. How does that not matter?

You're completely one-sided. As good as Wards body work was, that's all he had. Kovalev landed jsut as much body shots, and actually followed it up to the head with head snapping jabs. Ward barely threw any combos.

I already gave Ward respect, plenty of times. This has nothing to do with respect. There was nothing controversial about the result? Come on dude lol
