How did K2 force Dec 10 upon Jacobs if he was already going to fight then?

I knew that as usual, Motorcity Cobra was saying BS.

He stated that it was Lloefler who tried to make the fight on December. That Jacobs never had in mind to fight that date.

That's from Haymon to Jacobs... Dec 10th at Barclays. And they already knew the WBA was gonna order the fight, so no surprises there. He said this right after he fought Mora, September what... 9th?

If they were planning on another opponent for then, then they were never really going to fight GGG

When did K2 start talking about Dec 10? Was it before or after Jacobs said they already had a Dec 10 date? If before, wouldn't it still be irrelevant since Jacobs would still be preparing for a Dec 10th date?

He went back to the gym too about 3 weeks later, so it was in keeping with that schedule

So how did K2 all of a sudden enforce a date they already chose and ruined everything for them? They already knew the fight was going to be mandated, what am I missing here?

Dunno, the initial noises from camp Jacobs were really positive - I don't know how much credence to give the Sherdog 'source', but everything at least looked like it was set to go, at least that was the vibe I got. Hell there was even Rozier (or at least someone claiming to be Andre) on here declaring how they were ready to shake GGG up. And then... nothing. Silence. Then from being in the gym ready for the 10th either at Barclays or MSG suddenly Danny ain't gonna be ready for either.

It's speculation, I know, but my hunch is Haymon stepped in - his reasons? I'm not sure. He figured they could get more money? Perhaps. A deliberate delay maybe - perhaps to ready more funds for a purse bid? Some other reason? IDK - that's just the sense I've got. Mainly I just hope this **** happens, and the sooner the better.

Jacobs ran his mouth for months about wanting Golovkin, then when it was time to man up he made a thousand excuses. He's still making excuses.

Pretty obvious who wants the fight and who doesn't. The only thing K2 is doing wrong is playing along with this ****** game when Jacobs is clearly scared. I doubt he has any intention of actually fighting GGG. He'll keep feigning interest while hoping he can delay them to the point of walking away.

I don't know why K2 doesn't see this... now they took off a fight date, stuck to 2 fights this year waiting for people who don't want to make a fight with him "ATM" and they just go along with it.

They need to purse bid this Friday then set up for next year if Jacobs really needs this much time. If not strip him because he wasn't going to fight them anyway. He can fade back into irrelevancy and cry about why he's not popular

K2 is really lacking in the opposition department, so they have to play along. I don't want to see GGG vs Heiland/Blanco, that's for damn sure. Contrary to popular belief, I don't think moving to 168 will solve the problem. If GGG is gonna fight one of those low-tier guys, it shouldn't be an HBO main event. Put that **** on a Klitschko under-card or put Chocolatito/Cuadras 2 as the main-event.
