  • Gilberto Ramirez next opponent Dominik Britsch. Terrible

This is for the WBO WORLD Championship. This shouldn't even be allowed. Ain't no way in hell that Rohan Murdoch is worse than this. Dominic Wade would beat this guy. This is worse than Salka. This guy has no business being anywhere near a world title shot. This is dangerous. I know you can't always go by records but look at the records and weights of his opponents.

    His last 6 fights:

    162.75 lbs Britsch 32-2-1
    163.25 lbs Slavisa Simeunovic 21-13-0
    UD 8/8 Britsch

    162 lbs Britsch 31-2-1
    167.5 lbs Aro Schwartz 6-0-0
    UD 10/10 Britsch

    162 lbs Britsch 30-2-1
    145.5 lbs Adnan Zilic 12-11-0
    RTD 1/8 Britsch

    162 lbs Britsch 29-2-1
    156.5 lbs Suleyman Dag 10-63-0
    TKO 2/6 Britsch

    159.75 lbs Britsch 28-1-1
    159.75 lbs Soufiene Ouerghi 5-3-0
    MD 8/8 Ouerghi

    159.5 lbs Britsch 27-1-1
    157.75lbs Soufiene Ouerghi 5-2-0
    MD 8/8 Britsch

THE GUY WASN'T EVEN RANKED IN THE TOP 100 MIDDLEWEIGHTS!!!!!!!

This is indefensible. I've yet to see anybody defend it but probably because nobody has even looked into this guy. How the hell did this fight get sanctioned

Put the worst possible opponent on a PPV card so HBO wouldn't have to bother paying for it.

yeah that is really bad, Arum could've at least gotten him Caleb Truax or Paul Smith but they really went low to find the weakest opponent possible for him. But it is only one fight so I won't come down too hard on him, after this the next fight better be a big one! What happens when the WBO orders Ramirez to fight Jesse Hart, what will Arum do then because I'm sure he would like to continue to build up both fighters. George Groves would be very solid opponent for him next though!

What do you mean don't come down hard on him? I'm wondering how this fight even got sanctioned. He's the last one to blame in this situation but he deserves some blame.

People have to be consistent. If you're going to criticize Wade, Monroe Jr, Murdoch and Salka you have to criticize this. This guy Britsch is terrible and yes, I've watched some of his fights. Did ya'll not see he fought a welterwight while he was a super middleweight and fought a middleweight while he was a super-middleweight? And the guy had 63 losses. He's going the distance with guys with 5 and 6 wins.

This guy has the nerve to talk **** about Canelo. At least Canelo's opponent is a world champion.

Got sanctioned because WBO do what they want to get money.

Nobody is coming down on it because NSB only cares about certain boxers.

**** opponent, meh card...fight shouldn't happen, PPV card very meh

That whole card is just begging mexicans to buy it w/a vacant WBO shot with Valdez and Ramirez fighting as a world champ...

Don't you know that champs get two tune-ups after they attain the belt? Ask Degale, Brook, Joshua, Wilder, (need I go on..)
