Broner Becoming a Problem With Team Haymon

Interesting video. Saying he's making A side demands, calling guys out then backing out and not living the fighter lifestyle.

Sounds like Broner, he should probably just give up on fighting and become an announcer because he would probably be better at that.

I mean, he's basically an A side fighter now.

He and Porter are both managed by Haymon and he managed to get him down to 144 on TOP of a MAX rehydration clause of 155 lbs. But the fact thay they feel comfortable enough staging the fight at the MGM Grand Garden Arena (not theatre) shows that they believe he can sell tickets.

What would conceive you to believe he would be a better "announcer" than a fighter? What does that even mean, what kind of announcer?

He only has 1 loss for goodness sake.

Because his mouth gets people talking more than his fighting abilities.

Well, Michael Buffer sounded pretty rough during his Pac intro ... maybe he's saying Broner could become a ring announcer.

According to 78 they are going to start matching him up tough and see if he can handle it.

That's great news then. If Haymon wants to pass the torch to Broner then he'll need to be able to back that up. It's a big responsibility.

He probably can handle it. People seem to act like the Maidana fight is the only fight he ever fought. The Maidana fight was a bump in the road.

That would not be a good idea. They already let him talk them into taking the Chino fight and we know what happened there.

For all of Haymon's fault, I don't think he'll throw Broner under a bus. Haymon's weakness might be his loyalty, hence the bizarre need for him to be pushing fighters like Santa Cruz and Quillin.
