Scott Harrison v. Victor Polo round by round

Round One: The home commentary team gave it for Harrison, but I gave it for the visitor. Harrison is cut above his left eye.

Round Two: A competitive fight, both rounds have been close. Harrison probably landed the harder shots in this one and seems to be decoding Polo's style, but he's being outboxed technically.

Round Three: Polo's round. The cut seems to be troubling Harrison, and he's adopting rough house tactics to try and conquer Victor's cute boxing abilities. Harrison gives Polo a large grin at the end, but it's seemingly full of malice.

Round Four: Harrison gets a warning for a low blow, but it's the most decisive round as his brawling style gets through and he registers a few times. The first three were close, this one should be Harrison's on all cards.

Round Five: Polo was badly hurt halfway through, though managed to survive due to his intelligent bobbing defense and Harrison smothering his work. However, it does look like it won't go to the scorecards. Harrison a round up for me, probably two up for the home crowd.

Round Six: Polo adopts offensive tactics and comes back strong. However, he's warned for using his head, which went unnoticed by me. As Harrison's cut is significantly increased this would seem to be borne out. Harrison maybe just a round up.

Round Seven: "You're too far oot!" cries Harrison's corner as he consistently misses the taller Columbian. Polo is warned again for head work, but it's possible that the referee is just overenthusiastic.

Wish I'd remembered to put money on this one...

Round Eight: The home commentators favoured Harrison, but I'd give it to Polo. The deciding factor could be that Harrison is clearly physically stronger and seems capable of KOing Polo. Polo doesn't seem capable of hurting Harrison, though is winning the boxing match.

Round Nine: Polo is the better technician, Harrison the most effective. Harrison shaded this one, making Polo just a round up for me.
