Moorer was a hard hitter at LHW but he was piss weak at Heavy, that's what usually happens when little boxers move up beyond their natural weight.
David is an unusual case, probably the only one I can think of that seems to have maintained his savage power at HW.
Moorer also has no chin, not a good combination against somebody slightly longer, faster and with a cracker punch like Haye.
Haye also has better reflexes.
I think Moorer could make it last a few rounds, Haye fights pretty cautious at first because of his won chin issues at times. But after a few rounds I reckon he'd **** Moorer out pretty quickly.
Haye KO4 Moorer.
Moorer was also too ****** to fight Haye, he didn't listen to his advice from corner and got caught by a lumbering Geroge Foreman because he stood right in front of him.
If it's prime Michael moorer on his best night vs prime haye, I think Moore dominates him behind the jab and knocks him out in about the 7th, or haye goes into survival mode for 12
hard to call. moorer didn't have the same pop as a light heavy but could still hurt you. both guys could be hurt but moorer was more technically sound than haye so I lean toward him by late tko. moorer also had very good stamina

wow,,,piss weak at heavyweight? his kayo ratio was pretty low but he did put a good hurting on some guys and fought the best. he did hurt foreman more than once and had holyfield in trouble. I agree that his chin wasn't great but he had a lot of heart and was a much better pure boxer than haye. that hook jab from the southpaw stance would have caused haye a lot of problems. besides wlad moorer would have been by far haye's toughest opponent

That's simply not true I don't reckon.
He managed to just beat Botha inside 12, fought Foreman and lost ridiculously, fought Holyfield evenly.
That's not fighting the best at all. Where are the Lennox Lewis's, Rid**** Bowe's, Tommy Morrison's, Michael Grant's and so on.... He would have been knocked out so fast. Basically he ducked all the hard punchers except 2...
Foreman, so slow you could have a cup of coffee, but still managed to KO Moorer..
And Tua, not renowned for significant skills either, but finished Moorer in literally seconds.
David Haye is also a hard ****er but is also slick as a ghost and fast as a bullet.
I see no real hope for Moorer in this one. He would definitely have been a good opponent for Haye at HW but he would have probably been his weakest HW opponent if anything. Harrison was 6'6 and massive, better than given credit for, Valuev would have been too big for Moorer, Chisora might have been good fight with Moorer, a bit like Cooper, he might win.
I would want to hope he hurt Foreman, he punched the living crap out of him all night long and still couldn't drop the big fella. As if Foreman would ever be able to lay that shot on Haye.
