i just made a whole new routine....i want some opinions befor i start it though......im trying to lose 50 lbs in 12 weeks so i could get back in the gym and start sparring again..please give any suggestions.........thanx....................

mon-wed-fri
jog-40.min.with sprints
shadowbox-3x3
heavybag-3x3
floor to ceiling bag-3x3
jump rope-10 min
burpees-25
clap pushups-25
bicyle crunches-3x20
leg raises-2x20
crunches-2x50

tue-thu
jog-40.min.with sprints.
curls-12
wheighted pushups-15
squats-12
wheighted sit ups-15
upright rows-12
dips-15
side bends-12..each side...
circuits-3x

sat-medium paced jog..60 min.
sun-rest.

should i be doing more or less of something????
my main goal is to lose the weight,and get myself ready for the gym......

my main goal is to lose the weight,and get myself ready for the gym......
the weights- tou need to do more or no affect will take place,
the routine- to loose wieght you need to eat healthy foods and run more than stated- about 3 miles a day, with a good sprint at the end, not forgetting to do uphill sprints on grass not solid ground like concrete!

well my diet is pretty good..i got that part down.....
as far as the weights,i do that routine 3x in a row...just to add stregnth...
i will run more though.....

just outta curiosity....wgat kinda weight training should i be doin then..i dont wanna do to much...but i dont wanna do not enough either...

the types of lifting are ok, just do like 20 or more in a set, about 3 or 4 sets a day!
the last two or three of each set should be around 8 or 9 on a difficulty scale of 10 being the hardest!
but yes half this weight routine for weight loss programme!,
just eat healthy, no meat(this may be harder than you think!) and do lots of light running with occasional sprints!

You don't need to sprint every day, except to loosen up before and after the jogging. Do some hillwork instead of the jogging occasionally. If you only have 12 weeks to get ready to fight, you better get in the gym and spar every day, and work the rest of the stuff in where you can. As far as losing the weight, you can't do it without diet, although 50 pounds in 3 months is too much.....
