How does Ben Askren do if he comes to the UFC?
With his contract up and based on Rebneys comments I think its becoming a real possibility now.
Does he crack the top 5? 10? 15? Heard a lot of mixed reviews on this topic what do you guys think?
Some people have said if Fitch could do well then so could Askren but I think many people forget Fitch is a pretty good striker though not very powerful. He banged a bit with Alves in the 2nd fight and Erik Silva. Askren is a much better wrestler though and their BJJ Fitch has the edge as of now though Askren is rapidly rising in his BJJ game.
I think he would probably beat Lawler, Story, Pyle, Brown, Alves, and maybe even Koschek since Askren is much more prime wrestler.
I think he cracks the top 10 and maybe even earns a title shot at absolute best, but I have a hard time seeing him beat Condit, Kampman, Maia, Rory, GSP, and Hendricks.

GSP, Hendricks, Koscheck, Kampman, Rory, Condit, Ellenberger beat him. Anyone who has dodgy TDD is likely to lose. Their best chance is to face him in his first fight, when he has immense pressure ('UFC jitters').

He does fine, but doesn't win the title until GSP retires and as long as he can wrestlef#$* an opponent to a decision win.
