Coliseo Mario de León, Cerete, Colombia - After eight rounds of brutal action back to back, Merlito Sabillo (21-0, 11KOs) stopped Luis De La Rosa (21-2-1, 12KOs) by TKO at 2:58 of the eight round. As predicted it was one of the best fights in history of the 105 division. Also William Urina won the WBO Interim Latin Bantamweight interim title with a ten round unanimous decision over Colombian champion Jesus Martinez in front of a sell out crowd.
