Default Launch Pad and Flywheel?

Prince Mongo referred to these two as anaolgies for the proper power mechanics of a boxing punch.

1) Is fly wheel a simple foot and hip pivot punch in which the foot spins? (Like Ali would use or classic very upright british boxers?)

2) Is launch pad a push off the weight loaded rear foot that causes/helps the hips to rotate? (like earnie shavers/rocky/tyson would use ie very crouched fighters or power punchers who gain leverage off the ground?)

3) Also do you have to use a mental cue like "put out the cigerette" or "turn the knee in" to rotate your hips for a punch or can you just rotate them all by themselves?
