Cutting a lot of weight doesn't necessarily mean he was weight drained to the point that it effected his health at all. There are a ton of factors that go into that, namely water weight, but I could see bone structure and other genetic factors playing a part as well.
I cut 8 pounds in like 3 days from 157 to 149. Gained the weight because I ate like a fatass over a single weekend and I'm far from being on a professional athletes level of conditioning. You can't look at numbers and tell at all. In some of those pics its pretty clear he has a low body fat percentage so this pretty much fits in with the fact that Manny is known to be relax and laze around gaining weight when he isn't fighting. |

He was drained further down when he was still growing and was a huge mutha at those weights. From about 122 up though, I don't think he was ever drained. He looked thin etc, and had to lose a lot of weight because he's naturally a very big guy to be fighting at those weights, but he always fought incredibly hard without any sign of being drained whatsoever.
