Sergey Rabchenko will not be distracted by talk of a world title fight as he prepares to defend his European title against Adriano Nicchi on 30 March.

The Belarusian makes the second defence of his light-middleweight belt against the Italian at the Salle des Etoiles venue in Monte Carlo.

WBC president Jose Sulaiman has hinted that Rabchenko could face Erislandy Lara in a final eliminator with the winner set for a showdown with world champion Saul Alvarez later in the year.
