If someone were to cut off your eyelids would you still be able to sleep?

I believe your eyes would dry out in their sockets if you cut off your eyelids. Nasty thought. You would also look scary to other people you meet.

Sure you just put a blindfold on, the bigger problem would be the lack of protection from dirt and keeping them moist.

Sleep isn't optional, it's necessary. I believe the body would adapt so you could sleep.
