Guys, many of you may have not seen this fight, but tell me who won between

Patrick Ford and Salvador Sanchez.

Many of you were disappointed that Mike McCallum never got to participate in the big 4 round robin. Many of us never got to see Floyd and Manny( to me it would've been a no contest), and Eusebio Pedroza versus Sanchez.

Patrick Ford was a talented, capapble boxer who would give any of the greats a fight because he had a jab, size and reach.

Tell me who won this fight. You may have to youtube the rest of the fight, but here is the beginning.

This was a very close fight. I loved Lopez, Olivares, Chavez, Dlh, and many other Mexican fighters, but my favorite was Salvador Sanchez. I wanted to see what some of your opinions were of this fight.

Sal won the fight, and he was basically fighting a lw. Sal had an iron chin, but he was befuddled a bit in this fight. Sal would achieve greatness early, but this was a troublesome fight for him.

Sal achieved greatness before his untimely death, but he worked hard to get there. This was a forgotten fight that many thought he lost. Imo it proved that Sal was for real.

The question I will ask in another thread is who wins Sanchez or Eusebio Pedroza

I haven't watched this fight in awhile but I remember it being very competitive. Good showing from both fighters.

Wow hadn't seen this in ages. Really may be the only "stain" on Sanchez' record (using the term loosely mind you) still felt he edged it in the late stages.
