Nolan is my favorite director today, but you have to pick Spielberg due to his body of work and all the years he's been doing this. I mean, Kurbrick wanted him to do his movie A.I.; that let's you know how respected he is. However, I think Nolan will have a case atop the best directors in a few decades.
