Nolan's the man, I love his films. But Spielberg is on another level all time, like Scorsese. It's a shame Nolan isn't more recognized by the Oscars yet though.

I love Memento, Insomnia, The Prestige, Batman Begins, The Dark Knight, Inception, The Dark Knight Rises, etc.

Nolan is my favorite director today, but you have to pick Spielberg due to his body of work and all the years he's been doing this. I mean, Kurbrick wanted him to do his movie A.I.; that let's you know how respected he is. However, I think Nolan will have a case atop the best directors in a few decades.
