Danny Garcia posted a photo Monday afternoon of what he says is the rib injury that led to his Feb. 9 fight with Zab Judah being postponed until April 27 — possibly doing so in response to questions of the veracity of his injury.
“I suffered a wall contusion, which is a bruised rib cage,” Garcia wrote on Instagram, the caption accompanying a photograph of what appears to be swelling in an area on the left side of his torso. “It takes 4-6 weeks to heal,” he wrote. “As you can see in this pic, my left rib cage had a big lump on it.” Some of the skepticism about Garcia’s injury arose after DeMarcus “Chop Chop” Corley told TheKoncreteJungle.com on Sunday that Garcia had suffered a thumb injury in training camp.
