This is something they need to think about. There isn't very much out there for Mares. He deserves a decent payday though. He went through that whole tourny and he's still waiting for a decent fight! If no John then maybe he could move up and fight Ponce or go down and fight Vazquez or Montiel!! They could also try to do a big fight with Carl Frampton if promoted properly it could be a big fight. They should just forget about Donaire all together and just go their own route!!

Montiel/Vasquez are TR fighters, and Frampton is fighting Martinez. Mares should fight Terrazas next.
