My guess is that some drunk a*sholes knew he was a boxer and wanted to fight him. Trout being drunk didnt walk away and fought them. Drunk people always want to fight boxers to prove their machismo and the boxers simply walk away most of the time. Boxers have to avoid those types of situations.
