Today in Moscow, the official press conference took place for the return of former WBC world heavyweight champion Oleg Maskaev (36-7, 27KOs) of Russia, who faces Jamaican Owen Beck veteran. After a three-year hiatus, Maskaev has decided to return to boxing. The event called - "Returning Champion" - will be held on December 30th in Troitsk (New Moscow) at the Sports Palace Quant.

if guys who are over the hill want to keep fighting then it's these type of fights i don't mind seeing. a couple of former names getting it on if front of probably a few thousand people. good domestic entertainment. maskaev by knockout but i'd laugh if he lost to beck. beck has dropped like 9 in a row or something...
