If there's one cinema-related trend that pisses me off more than any other, it's when self-proclaimed 'film buffs' suck this movie off like Coppola's semen contains the elixir of eternal life.

That movie f*cking sucks. Point blank.

Say what you want about how great the cinematography, editing, and soundtrack is (and I'd agree) but none of that means d*ck when your story falls flat on it's face thanks to an exorbitant runtime that's weighed down by prolonged periods of monotonous dialogue.

Coppola strings the viewer along the entire film with the promise of some kind of payoff, and what you get has got to be one of the weakest endings to a supposed 'masterpiece' since 'Psycho'.

Worse than the film itself are the cantankerous c*cksuckers who defend it against your legitimate criticisms with the argument that you "didn't get it."

F*ck that f*cking film and it's pretentious f*cking fanbase.

I like the film but I agree with most of what you've just said. The ending is ****e.
