On the cusp of title contention, Rogelio De la Torre of Houston tries to boost his world ranking April 19 as the featured fighter on Standing 8 Promotions latest event at the Hurst Conference Center.
De la Torre [10-2-0, 6 KO] is building on a thrilling sixth-round knockout of Quinton Whitaker in February and will take on the always tough welterweight Milton Ramos of Waco [8-3-2, 2 KO] in an eight-round bout that headlines a fight card loaded with strong welterweights who will battle each other during the second of six Standing 8 events scheduled this year in Hurst.
