It's getting ridiculous now, the WBC mandatory spot has not been given a title shot for about 4 years.

Lucas has earned his shot, but they know it's a, awful style-matchup, and Matthyse will most likely lay Danny flat on the canvas.

Angel Garcia, despite being a scumbag isn't stupid, he knows his son's weaknesses and will try to milk the title for all it's worth, that doesn't include getting raped by Lucas Matthyse

Hopefully the WBC ****ing makes them fight him.

Ill tell you what, this may sound stupid but I think half of the reason why Garcia is winning is his dad. His dad gets into these guys heads which makes them come on fight night with guns blazing which plays right into Garcia's hands. But guess what? Angel Garcia's antics will NOT work vs Matthysse cause you can tell Matthysse is about his business and takes care of things in the ring.

The thing here is, even if Matthysse comes on fight night with guns blazing and Garcia tries to trade with him, he's toast. Garcia seems to cut up easily so between that and Matthysse's body work = TKO.

But as you say it won't matter anyway with matthyse style, i dont see any way Danny can win against lucas

Matthysse shows no emotions and the Garcia's know this. They know their sh*tty strategy will not work in this case. Im also not convinced by Garcia's chin and it will be interesting to see what happens if Judah lands the uppercut he landed on Matthysse.

Garcia is not going to fight Matthysse anytime soon. I think he's going to stay protected as long as possible, only clearly winnable fights for him.

I know one thing, the general distaste for Angel Garcia's antics will become near violent outrage if he starts with that shit against Matthysse. Fans will be foaming at the mouth for Danny's blood.
