Virgil explained it perfectly, the problem is that he got hit with that horse kick off a punch, and that he decided to go toe to toe with danny after it happent, both of witch has nothing to do with his jaw.

If you watch Linares getting stopped by Thompson it's the same thing. The guy would be out of position and desperately vulnerable, but instead of trying to shut the situation down he's still looking to get punches off.

I suppose the question is whether or not a guy can learn the defensive tricks at that age and execute them at the world championship level.
