Default Picking Up Colds / Viruses

If you train alot (intense) training are you more likely to pick up colds / viruses? Should you increase Vitamin C intake if you train hard.

Another question,

If you have less body fat is it harder to stay warm? (linked to above)


Reason I ask, I had a cold/bunged up nose/chest which seemed to go on for for 2/3 weeks and I struggled to shake it off, and I was still training.

I started taking those dissolvable 1000mg Vitamin C with Zinc tabs and it seems to have got rid of it? is it just coincidence?

So no responses, Just wanted to know if you are performing excersize should you need to take additional Vitamin C I know it boost's immune system but shold you need extra if training? I eat fruit in my diet.

I'll google it!
