The way Hatton look and the way he was getting some Ken & Ryu type Shoryuken hang-time when he was going for those left hooks.

Magic Man would have schooled him. And that's quite sad even though I like Paulie.

I know Paulie was pissed though. Missing out on that Hatton payday and revenge.

The 'fans' in Manchester' applauded the over blown pipe dreams of a pride addict who returned to the ring to discard the devil and then promptly inherited a new one.

He looked ancient yesterday night with the ravages of drink and drug etched into his pugilist's mug.
He fought on the fuel of the past for six stanzas and then hit a wall like an old Chevy that accelerated too quickly and was then drained of all fire.

Ricky Hatton is not one of the greats.
He did not enjoy his craft.
It was a chain around his heart, not a talent embraced.

Go in peace Ricky and leave the fight game to men such as Robert Guerrero.
The moral imperative knows how to balance family, craft and pride to assist in vanquishing life's hardships as well as a gifted fighter.

Maybe not, but he filled a football stadium with fans to watch boxing.

Who gives a **** about boxing now? Are Kell Brook or Amir Khan going to keep the sport so mainstream in the UK? No.

Another fan favourite has been defeated and there aren't many people capable of filling his shoes.

Boxing continues to struggle.
