I just think the emphasis on money is the priority. Image and packaging something that can be sold to the masses is more important than talent IMO. Not saying there isn't talent in todays music or movies, I just think the later has become the priority.

Demi could sing I've seen her in concert (I have kids) but I don't think she should be judging people, Britney sucks but one thing about them two is I would love to see them rub rugs

Idk about actors, as alwayd in any time period there are good and bad ones. As far as singers/music and whatnot, i agree with your sentiments.
