The legendary Micky “Irish” Ward had a meeting on Monday with the Acquinity Sports team. Ward will be the assistant to head coach German Caicedo next Friday November 30th at the BB&t Center in Sunrise, Florida - as the two of them will work the corner of Joan Guzman. The Dominican two-time former champion faces unbeaten Khabib Allakhverdiev for the vacant WBA "regular" junior welterweight title.

could be a good match, Guzman is a fighter whose dedication has never quite matched his talent. Ward had all the dedication but limited talent...

Hopefully he can instill some good old irish work ethic on Guzman.

Hopefully The Fighter films go the same way as Rocky, we can see him as a trainer The Fighter VII, untill his pupil turns agianst him and he has to bar room brawl his ass
