CARL FROCH'S preparations for his world title defence have been interrupted by a dawn raid.
Froch bids to hold on to his IBF world super-middleweight title against American Yusaf Mack at the Capital FM Arena in Nottingham tonight. But his big fight build-up was disturbed one morning by drug testers banging on the door of his Nottingham home. Such unexpected visits are the price that athletes have to pay as officials try to weed out drug cheats. Froch said: “I was just about to go on an early run when there was a loud bang on my front door. I’m thinking, ‘You have just woken up my little boy’, then my partner Rachael starts screaming about it.
