very good fight! Gary is coming along beautifully. His team is allowing hi to develop fully in mind body and spirit, much like Deontay Wilder, and Broner. THis is how they did it in the old days. Allow your fighter to grow on all levels. A boxers development is alot slower than a brawlers. BOxers have more tools than brawlers do. Therefore it takes longer to sharpen them. Learning how to utilize timing, spacing, power, speed, reach, angles, slipping , rolling, perrying and catching punches takes time. one needs to fight different heights and style fighters with minimum risk in order to fully reach thier highest level. Look what happens when you rush your fighter. For example, Fernando Vargus,David Ried, chad Dawson,Zab Judah were all rush undevelop talents with Greatness potiential. They all won titles and did good but none max thier full potiential. In the old days most fighters first 30 fights were stepping stones. The mental game takes time for most fighters, some are groomed for babies like Mayweather jr and Roy Jones jr. For all others not born in a boxing ring it usually needs a much slower development course.
