After watching his young charge, Nav Mansouri, fall agonisingly short in his recent Prizefighter outing against Birmingham’s Terry Carruthers, promoter Dave Coldwell has wasted no time in setting up a second meeting between the pair that will take place at Rotherham’s Magna Centre in February. Despite not leaving London’s York Hall with the glory that many forecasted, Mansouri certainly played his part in the light-middleweight tournament and Coldwell is insistent that better days await the Yorkshire prospect.
