Yeah they actually had Gatti as the favorite in this fight. I remember Floyd telling everyone that they could become a millionaire by betting their life savings on him. ****, I wish I would have listened.
I was tired of the attention Gatti was getting as a "blood and guts" warrior at the expense of numerous fighters who were much more skilled at their craft. Mayweather told everybody that this fight was a mismatch before they even stepped in the ring and he backed up every word he said.
Yeah it was funny when HBO was desperately trying to sell it as a competitive matchup. Ron Borges asking "what is Mayweather gonna do when he realizes Gatti is not gonna give up, that he will die in the ring?".
Uhh....punch him in the face some more?
Nigel Collins picked Gatti to win, LOL
It was such an obvious mismatch, but even I didn't expect it to be THAT brutal and one-sided.

Mayweather was a 5-1, 6-1 betting favorite.
If Mayweather had been an underdog or even money, I would've bet a *****load on him.
The only question I had was whether or not Gatti would actually win a round.
