it's only a personal opinion, but i think wrestling is probably the best base for a "streetfighter."
boxing is based on a bunch of rules and pieces of equipment that don't apply to streetfights.
if you land a big punch on the wrong part of a big enough guy's skull, your hand is going to break. you're better off with all of the options
legs have great range and are very strong. a muay thai champion can flick a leg kick out the way you'd shoot a jab, and it can literally break your leg or tear up a knee. elbows will cut a man to ribbons. knees are very strong. you're better off if you can use everything in a fight that allows for it.
if all things are equal (size, skill, experience,) then you take the guy with the options.
