Default Cleto reyes in sparring question

When using cleto reyes in sparring, is there a 'life' to them? For instance, you should only use them for a certain amount of rounds before you shouldnt use them on a person? Was just wondering seeing as how cleto's are a punchers glove, with already thin knuckle padding, if when using them the knuckle area gets spread out and thinner. Didnt type that sentence too well, but hopefully it makes sense lol. Thnx brahs
