I loved those Johnston fights, gotta be one of the best caliber ESPN fights ever. Bazan was also a good fight, kinda boxed in that fight for a while before hurting him, Bazan was good himself. lazcano a good win as well, I think he boxed a little in that fight too. The little series of fights between him, Corrales, and Casamayor produced good competition. casamayor wasn't that great to watch until the end I believe, but at least they fought
Castillo one of the best skilled pressure fighters of recent times..if Rios or Chavez Jr had any of the types of skill in slipping, picking off shots, cutting the ring off, and getting off inside they'd wouldn't be seem so out of their depth at times against difficult styles. I'll give Rios some slack he has faced some tough styles and gotten thru. JLC took two to give one, but not four or five like others who try that style might. Still was able to figure out his way inside and stay active on every fighter he fought no matter how talented, dirty, or tricky Last edited by LA_2_Vegas; 10-06-2012 at 03:58 AM. |
