Russian promoter and manager Vladimir Hryunov expects WBA interim-champion Denis Lebedev (24-1, 18KOs) to fight full WBA cruiserweight titleholder Guillermo Jones (38-3-2, 30KOs). He denies reports of Lebedev walking away from the fight. The two sides are having difficulties finalizing a deal. If they can't reach a deal by Friday, then Hryunov will make a demand for the World Boxing Association to send the mandatory fight to a purse bid.
